ABOUT Victor

Whether on the sunlit runways of military air bases in Spain, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Poland, or Italy, there’s a distinct energy in the air—the thunder of jet engines, the precision of movement, and the sheer force of aviation innovation.

Each shoot begins with careful preparation—checking gear, calibrating lenses, and donning hearing protection. These routines mark the beginning of a focused operation. Using high-speed shutter settings (1/1000th of a second or faster), I capture the razor-sharp motion of jets in flight. For propeller-driven aircraft, I dial back the shutter speed to allow for intentional motion blur—adding a sense of movement and momentum to the frame.

In these dynamic environments, I’ve found my focus: documenting the power, elegance, and engineering of aircraft that challenge gravity and redefine possibility.

These images go beyond visual documentation; they serve as a visual archive of human ambition and technological progress. Every frame tells a story—not just of machines, but of the people and the purpose behind them. My goal is to convey the power and beauty of aviation through a lens that blends precision with narrative, offering viewers a perspective that is both technical and deeply human.

STORIES
THE STORY BEHIND THE STORIES

When I was young, I devoured aviation and photography magazines. Those glossy pages were my inspiration, but today, many of them have disappeared. When I started this website, I wanted STORIES to be its cornerstone—because storytelling through photography inspires me, and hopefully, others as well.

That’s how STORIES were born. STORIES as they were meant to be in the era of beautifully designed lifestyle magazines—the kind that sat on coffee tables when we still took the time to read. Photo-heavy, carefully crafted, sometimes a bit over the top—always designed to inspire.

When it comes to STORIES, I follow the same approach as with my photography: I don’t worry about conventions. Inspiration is my guiding principle, which is why I’ll include an unconventional shot or bold design choice if I believe it enhances the story. Creating a new STORY takes 20 to 40 hours, including re-editing images from scratch—but I love the process. It’s a true reflection of my photography style, and the incredible feedback from readers completes the circle. Seeing my work inspire others makes it all worthwhile.
